Tinto Fino with Depth and Precision
Aalto focuses exclusively on Tempranillo, locally known as Tinto Fino, the grape that defines Ribera del Duero. Old vines play a central role in the style of the wines, producing low yields and intensely concentrated fruit.
Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks to ensure precise extraction and preservation of fruit purity. The wines are then aged in French and American oak barrels, where they develop depth, structure and integration. The duration of ageing varies depending on the cuvée, with Aalto PS representing the most concentrated and age-worthy expression.
The wines show dark berries, blackberry and plum alongside notes of spice, cocoa and subtle toast. On the palate they combine richness with structure, supported by firm tannins and balanced acidity.
