The wines of Domaine Etienne Sauzet arededicated almost entirely to Chardonnay. The goal is to capture the purity and finesse that define Puligny-Montrachet rather than pursuing richness or power.

Fermentation takes place in French oakbarrels, followed by ageing on the lees to build texture and complexity. The proportion of new oak varies depending on the appellation, with Grand Cru wines seeing a higher percentage while village wines are treated more delicately. Throughout the process, the use of oak is carefully balanced to support the structure of the wine without overshadowing the character of the vineyard.

The resulting wines are known for their precision and refinement. Aromas of citrus, white flowers and stone fruit a relayered with subtle notes of hazelnut and fresh butter. On the palate they combine vibrant acidity with remarkable depth and minerality.
