Founded in 1954, Champagne M. Richomme is a family-owned estate in the Grand Cru village of Cramant currently operated by second generation Franck Richomme. The winery is located at the heart of the Côte des Blancs. This celebrated terroir is synonymous with some of Champagne’s most refined and mineral expressions of Chardonnay.

The vineyards lie on deep chalk, a luminous and highly porous soil that gives the wines their unmistakable tension, saline drive and linear precision.Guided by generations of experience, the house remains uncompromisingly focused on expressing the purity of Cramant. Here, elegance is not constructed in the cellar, it is grown in the vineyard.

The Art of Blanc de Blancs

The selection of Richomme is dedicated to 100% Chardonnay, embodying the crystalline finesse of the Côte des Blancs. Grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness to preserve both aromatic clarity and vibrant acidity. Fermentation takes place primarily in temperature-controlled stainless steel, while selected cuvées may see partial ageing in French oak to add texture without masking terroir.

Extended lees ageing refines and builds layered complexity, while dosage is carefully restrained to maintain transparency and tension. The result is a style defined by citrus purity, white florals and chalk-driven minerality. Gastronomic, precise and built to evolve.
